Low Current Matrix Switch
The model 7174A 8 x 12 low current switching card is designed for use in the company's model 707 six-slot switch system and model 708 single-slot switch system. The card is optimized for high performance switching of semiconductor I-V and C-V signals. The unit's space-saving design offers eight low current, high performance pathways and uses air as an insulator. Any pathway in the 8 x 12 array will settle to less than 0.4 pA in less than 2.5 s after a 10 V step is applied. Relay settling time is less than 1 ms. The card features a two-pole form A contact configuration and can switch a wide range of signals with signal capacities of 200 V and 2 A. Each channel has an offset current less than 10 fA (typ) with 0 V applied to inputs and outputs. Bandwidth at 3 dB is 30 MHz at 50 W load and source, and 40 MHz at 1 mW load and 50 W source. Price: $7995. Delivery: four weeks (ARO).
