Sub10 Systems, the developer of millimetre-wave point-to-point radio equipment, is introducing another new partner in Eastern Europe. Abignet Group s.r.o. is the new distribution channel for Sub10’s Liberator family of point-to-point wireless Ethernet bridges in Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Operating in 60 and 80 GHz spectrum bands, the Liberator links provide high capacity short haul links for a variety of applications. Typical uses include small cell backhaul, provision of building to building connectivity, video surveillance infrastructure and Internet Service Provision.
Tomas Bergmann, channel director at Sub10 Systems, commented, “We are seeing rapidly growing interest from many applications for high capacity links as an extension of current fibre or wireless infrastructure in this region. Very popular free licensed bands such as 5, 10, 17 or 24 GHz cannot provide enough capacity to support this, and so operators and service providers are looking to invest in new technology and opportunities - this is where the Sub10 portfolio can provide an interesting solution for them. We are very pleased to support our new partner in this market and we look forward to working closely with Abignet Group on these projects.”
Abignet Group is a newly established company on the market from a very experienced management team who have been involved in microwave and millimetre-wave projects for many years. The company has a deep knowledge of local markets, strong experience with wireless technology and an excellent level of supporting services for their partners and customers.
Tomas Vodicka, managing director at Abignet Group commented, “We decided to include Sub10 links in our portfolio as our key product for high capacity solutions for our customers. Based on our tests and feedback from our customers, this solution fits exactly into our product range to support the current and increasing demand from existing projects and our customers. We are very excited about the high quality of Sub10’s technology and products, which will provide cost-efficient links in this challenging market.”
