RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a medium power, high gain amplifier using TriQuint GaN technology. The TGA2597-SM offers 32 dB of saturated output power using a 25 V bias and drawing only 40 mA. This biasing voltage makes the TGA2597-SM compatible with TriQuint’s high power amplifiers, easing the burden of multiple bias supplies in higher power GaN amplifiers operating in the 2 to 6 GHz frequency range. The TGA2597-SM has >24 dB of gain and >31% PAE.

Offered in a 4 x 4 mm QFN plastic overmolded package, the TriQuint TGA2597-SM serves target markets in Radar, EW and communication systems.
