LIGHTWAVE
Multichannel DWDMs
These multichannel dense wavelength division multiplexers (DWDM) are rugged and environmentally insensitive devices that provide the high isolation required by DWDM system users. The multiplexers are intended for use in systems where eight or more channels are required in the 1550 nm window. The units feature a modular design so that four-channel devices can be upgraded later to eight, 10, 12, 14 or 16 channels. Integrated eight- or 16-channel devices also are also available. The DWDMs also feature unidirectional and bidirectional operation, high isolation of 30 dB, low system insertion loss of less than 4 dB/device (eight-channel unit) and are environmentally stable and reliable.
