RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for Peregrine Semiconductor’s SP4T switch, PE42442. The PE42442 offers the best combination of high isolation and low insertion loss for a 50 ohm absorptive SP4T with 52 dB isolation and 1.15 dB insertion loss at 2.7 GHz.

Operating with supply voltages as low as 2.3 V, the PE42442 maintains a +58 dBm IIP3, allowing lower supply rails and reduced power consumption. This Peregrine switch enables LTE infrastructure designs utilizing advanced linearization techniques to maximize spectral efficiency and data throughput such as a single DPD receiver sampling multiple transmit paths.

Peregrine UltraCMOS eliminates the need for DC blocking capacitors required for GaAs switches thereby simplifying designs and maximizing board space. UltraCMOS also offers ESD protection of 4KV HBM on all RF pins. The Peregrine PE42442 is packaged as a 4mmx4mm QFN.
