The programme for the next ARMMS RF & Microwave Society conference that will take place at the Oxford Belfry, Nr Thame, UK on 7 and 8 April covers the latest technology. A cross section of the presentations that will feature during the Slipstream Design sponsored conference will include: A Prescription for THz Transistor Characterization, MMIC Futures, The Future of MM-Wave Packaging, An FMCW MIMO Radar Sensor, Emulation & Modelling of a Satellite Link and The description of a balancing act: Envelope Tracking and Digital Pre-Distortion in Handset Transmitters.
Of particular interest too will be a Panel Session titled: RF Semiconductor Technology Road Map – Are we changing lanes, or adding them to increase capacity?, which will be chaired by Dominic FitzPatrick of PoweRFul Microwave.
The ARMMS RF & Microwave Society is an independent professional society comprised of individuals with an interest in the design, production and measurement of devices and products operating at RF and Microwave frequencies. The Society serves as a focal point for discussions on a wide range of topics, particularly aspects relating to design, practical implementation, CAD and measurement.
Two meetings are held each year in the style of a small conference and associated able-top trade exhibition. As well as the technical papers a highlight of each meeting is the Society dinner, which provides an invaluable opportunity to meet like-minded colleagues.
