RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for the TGA2814, S-Band amplifier from TriQuint Semiconductor. The TGA2814 covers 3.1 to 3.6 GHz with up to 80 W pulsed Psat and power added efficiency as high as 56%.

Using 0.25 um GaN technology, this two-stage amplifier provides 25 dB of gain while drawing only 125 mA from a 30 V source. The TriQuint TGA2814 is available in DIE format for applications requiring high output power with high power added efficiency.

The TGA2814 can also support a variety of operating conditions to best support system requirements. With good thermal properties, it can support a range of bias voltages and will perform well under both short and long pulse operations.

With DC blocking capacitors on both RF ports which are matched to 50 ohms, the TGA2814 is ideal for both commercial and military radar systems.

Lead-free and RoHS compliant.
