Custom MMIC, (www.CustomMMIC.com), a developer of performance-driven monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs), is offering a device from their growing MMIC library of standard products. The CMD187 is a wideband GaAs MMIC amplifier die for applications from 2 to 20 GHz. This device delivers greater than 22 dB of flat gain with a corresponding output 1 dB compression point of +14 dBm, and a noise figure of 4.5 dB at 20 GHz.
The CMD187 is an all-positive bias design, thus eliminating the complicated and costly sequencing circuits while also simplifying board layout. In addition, the use of on-chip tracking circuits ensures consistent performance over temperature and process variation. The CMD187 is a 50 Ohm matched design that offers full passivation for increased reliability and moisture protection.
The CMD187 is suitable for microwave radio and VSAT, telecom infrastructure, test instrumentation, and military and space applications.
