AtlanTecRF introduces a comprehensive range of fully flexible test cable assemblies which are particularly suited to extensive test set-ups either in the laboratory or automatic test equipment.
Geoff Burling, CEO and founder of AtlanTecRF said, “The test and measurement industry has been calling for a lightweight, small diameter test cable assembly series and we have responded with this cost effective ACG series to unclutter the test bench and allow more compact ATE to be built”.
Grey in colour and only 0.168 inches in diameter the standard connector types are SMA male with the well-known and reliable anti-torque feature for which AtlanTecRF assemblies are renowned.
Frequency performance is to 26.5GHz and standard stock lengths range from 2 to 60 inches with other connector options available.
Cable construction with FEP jacket includes a silver plated wire braid on top of a sliver plated copper strip over a core containing a solid PTFE dielectric and silver plated copper clad steel centre conductor.
Impedance is 50 ohms and velocity of propagation 70% with power handing of up to 40 watts at 18GHz. The operating temperature range of -65C to +105C allows the ACG series to be used for testing within environmental chambers as well as at room temperature.
