OML announces a direct connect configuration that supports millimeter wave S-parameter measurements using the ZVA series network analyzer from Rohde & Schwarz. This entry-level configuration offers engineers the versatility to connect VxxVNA2 series modules directly to the front panel of a four-port dual-source vector network analyzer. As this announcement demonstrates, engineers can use new (or existing) VxxVNA2 series modules with their preferred network analyzer model. In general, the direct-connect configuration supports fully-reversing two-port S-parameter measurements consisting of S11, S21, S12 and S22. More economical subsets of these S-parameters are also available along with options for power control and amplification to overcome long cable runs between modules and network analyzer.
