RF Micro Devices Inc., a global leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance radio frequency components and compound semiconductor technologies, announced the company will showcase its portfolio of industry-leading wired broadband components at the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2012, to be held October 17-19, 2012, in Orlando, Florida.
RFMD's wired broadband components leverage the company's multi-chip-module (MCM) integration capabilities and broad access to all key process technologies to enable industry-leading performance for CATV, optical access, fiber-optic, and other applications. During the Expo, RFMD will present a broad array of products, including its silicon-on-insulator (SOI) CATV control components and its industry-leading GaN-based CATV amplifiers, which deliver increased bandwidth, improved power efficiency, and enhanced reliability for network upgrades.
