Auriga Microwave announced that it has received two more Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase I contracts. The Company earned its second Air Force SBIR and first NASA SBIR:
- Air Force AF112-150 20 Gigahertz (GHz) Radiation Hardened Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA) for Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Downlinks
- NASA O1.05 High-power X- and Ka-band Gallium Nitride Amplifiers with Exceptional Efficiency
These two awards bring the Company's total SBIR wins to eleven Phase Is, five Phase IIs, one Phase 2.5, and two Phase IIIs since 2007.
"What is great about these two programs in particular is that they expand our portfolio of RF frontend building blocks" said Dr. Yusuke Tajima, Auriga's Chief Technology Officer. Tajima continued, "We have been fortunate enough to win awards that allow us to create technology that can be leveraged, easily adapted, and optimized for more than the SBIR Program of Record. With these RF microwave frontend building blocks, we're a company that can respond to our customers' challenging needs much faster."
