SAN DIEGO, December 2, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model SMV1132A-LF in L-band. The SMV1132A-LF operates from 1112-1152 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-2.7 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -103 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 62 MHz/V.
The SMV1132A-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 0.75 dBm at 3.1 Vdc supply while drawing 12 mA over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -20 dBc and comes in Z-Comm’s industry standard SUB-L package measuring 0.3 in. x 0.3 in. x 0.08 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The SMV1132A-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
