Distributed Amplifier XD1008-BD
Mimix Broadband, Inc. introduces a 30 kHz to 40 GHz distributed amplifier delivering 15 dB Gain and 22.5 dBm at 22 GHz. The amplifier provides broadband performance for a variety of applications.
October 29, 2008, Houston, Texas - Mimix Broadband, Inc. introduces today a GaAs MMIC distributed amplifier with 15 dB gain, 22.5 dBm P1dB at 22 GHz, and 4.5 dB noise figure at 26 GHz. This distributed amplifier, identified as XD1008-BD, covers 30 kHz to 40 GHz and includes surface passivation to protect and provide a rugged part with backside via holes and gold metallization to allow either a conductive epoxy or eutectic solder die attach process. The XD1008-BD is ideal for microwave, millimeter-wave, military, wideband and instrumentation applications.
"The XD1008-BD offers low noise figure, medium output power, flat gain response, gain control and an integrated power detector; all features which make the device a versatile and attractive solution for wideband frequency applications," stated Paul Beasly, Product Manager, Mimix Broadband, Inc. "Moreover, the device stands apart from the competition with outstanding stability performance which provides a rock-solid solution over a broad temperature range and matching conditions."
Mimix performs 100% on-wafer RF, DC and output power testing on the XD1008-BD. Samples are available today from stock and production quantities will be available in six weeks.
