March 26, 2008, Houston, Texas - Mimix Broadband, Inc. introduces today a GaAs MMIC low noise amplifier (LNA) offered in an RoHS compliant, standard 3x3-millimeter QFN plastic package, covering 20 to 38 GHz. This LNA, identified as XL1010-QT, delivers 3 dB noise figure and 17 dB small signal gain and is well suited for multiple receiver applications that require broadband performance with simple bias requirements. The XL1010-QT also includes on-chip ESD protection structures and DC by-pass capacitors to ease implementation and volume assembly.
"The XL1010-QT is unique because it offers high frequency, broadband performance in a fully molded QFN package," stated Paul Beasly, Product Manager of Mimix Broadband, Inc. "The device is also fully matched and requires only a single, positive bias supply, making it an ideal low-cost solution for a wide-range of applications."
Mimix performs 100% RF testing on the XL1010-QT. Samples are available today from stock, along with production quantities in six to eight weeks. Technical support is also available from Mimix's applications engineers at 281.988.4600.
