AMERICAN MICROWAVE CORPORATION, INC. announces an improved programmable 0.5 to 18 GHz attenuator. This incorporates a new driver circuit with faster switching and more accurate attenuation. Low insertion loss and stable operation over temperature extremes.

Switching between all attenuation level is typically within 1 dB in 1.5 μs at 25 deg C. Sinewave scan modulation small and large signal bandwidth of 150kHz and 75 kHz respectively. Temperature stability of ± 2.5 dB over -10 to 85 deg C and ± 3.5 dB over -40 to 95 deg C.

The DVAT-0518-60-8-SK-196 uses a Micro-D 15pin connector. This model has 8 bit TTL control.

Various other options are available including other frequencies, switching speeds, connectors and analog control. The size of this unit is 2.00 x 1.81 x 0.5 inches.
