The new coupler operates from 6 to 10 GHz and is available in coupling values of 6, 10, 20 and 30dB nominal. Electrical performance offers actual thru arm insertion loss of 2.0dB max, return loss of 18dB minimum and directivity of 15dB maximum. Coupling flatness is 0.5dB maximum. Power handling is 50W CW, 4Kw peak, based on a 1% duty cycle 1usec PW and a load VSWR of 1.15:1. The new devices are available with SMA female connectors standard, and alternate interfaces, including reverse polarity, upon request. The package size is 1.00 x 0.5 x 0.37 inches, plus connectors. Units accommodate environmental extremes from –20° to +80° C.
