Rohde & Schwarz, Inc. appoints new Chief Operating Officer
Columbia, MD, October 23, 2009 — Scott Bausback has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Rohde & Schwarz, Inc. Bausback brings more than 25 years of experience in the test and measurement industry to this key position. He held a variety of sales and marketing management positions during an18-year tenure at Tektronix Inc. In 1998 he was named Vice President and General Manager of their Communications Business Unit. In 2001 he joined LeCroy Corporation as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
During his time at Tektronix, he was closely involved in the Tektronix/Rohde & Schwarz alliance and helped to build the foundation for Rohde & Schwarz’s successful transition into the US market.

During that time, he earned respect for his experience in the T&M market, industry insight, and proven track record.”

He was COO at LeCroy from 2001 to 2007, followed by a series of T&M industry management consulting assignments. Bausback holds a B.S. from Rutgers College of Engineering, from which he graduated cum laude.
