Labtech Microwave, one of the UK’s leading design and manufacturers of microwave solutions and bespoke microwave component technology has reported a successful MTT-S/IMS show 2008.
Held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA from 15 – 20 June the Microwave Theory and Techniques Society/International Microwave Symposium (MTT-S/IMS) featured a large trade exhibition and a wide variety of technical papers and workshops as part of Microwave Week 2008.
Labtech Microwave launched a number of new products including high power switches, passive components and microwave amplifiers, and three white papers covering detector log video amplifiers (DLVAs), liquid crystal polymer (LCP) multi chip modules (MCM-L) and pin diode switches. They also provided MMIC packaging samples for visitors to review.
Commenting on MTT-S/IMS 2008 Robert Lowther, sales and marketing director, said: “This was a very successful show for us and exceeded our expectations. The interest in our MMIC packaging solutions utilising LCP laminates still grows and several new opportunities were identified. Labtech Microwave’s recent rebranding exercise with refreshed vision and values statements were well received by visitors as well as current and potential new customers. The show was also an opportunity to meet with our USA based sales teams and other global representatives to discuss future strategy and developments.”
