CALGARY, Alberta - Sept. 12, 2007 - Acceleware Corp. (AXE: TSX-V), a leading developer of high-performance computing (HPC) applications, today announced that Steven Joachims has joined the organization as Vice President of Business Development. Joachims will be responsible for advancing strategic alliances and key partnerships, furthering commercialization of the Acceleware product family and augmenting channel partnerships. His initial focus will be to promote Acceleware’s acceleration solutions within the oil and gas sector. “Our goal is to become the world-wide leader of turnkey GPU acceleration products in the HPC market,” said Sean Krakiwsky president and CEO of Acceleware. “After performing an extensive search to find the right person to complement our current management structure, we are confident Steven will be a valuable addition to Acceleware as we strive to achieve our vision for the company.” With over 20 years experience in the HPC business, Joachims brings extensive community connections to Acceleware, as well as an ideal combination of senior leadership and hands-on experience spanning business development, marketing and strategic alliance management.
