Sema Industries is presenting its copper electroformed high frequency components in booth 614 at EuMW.
Through the electroforming process, mandrels in aluminum alloy are plated with a 0.2 to 12 mm coat of electrolytic copper. SEMA Industries produces copper parts (plated according needs) with a perfect inner surface state and complex inner shapes that are often difficult or impossible to achieve through conventional machining techniques.
Part types are hyper frequency filters, special waveguides, half and full duplex sources, mode filters, mode extractors and polarity separators. SEMA lists Thales, Airbus and Areva among its clients.
