electronica India 2011 & productronica India 2011, organized by Messe München International India Pvt. Ltd., were a success when held at the Pragati Maidan exhibition centre in New Delhi, India. The event provided a key platform for companies in India, aimed at significantly helping and boosting business for the Indian electronics industry. The shows emphasized a continued industry focus on developing the eco system of electronics, particularly automotive electronics and EMS/contract manufacturing, focusing on local manufacturing.

For the very first time, there was participation from Korea, apart from China, UK, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan, exhibiting latest technologies. electronica India and productronica India occupied 16,000 square meters and featured 917 exhibitors from 25 countries. Over 10,250 visitors took the opportunity to meet the key players from the electronics industry who included Agilent Technologies, ASYS, Panasonic, Renesas Electronics, STMicroelectronics and Tata Power SED.
Sapna Mongia, South Asia Marketing Manager of STMicroelectronics, observed, “This has been our first participation with electronica India and we were impressed with the quality of visitors. The show gave us the opportunity to demonstrate our wide range of innovative technologies and we also had the chance to reach potential customers.”

The good response from exhibitors and visitors has stimulated significant rebooking of space for electronica India 2012 and productronica India 2012, which will be held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre from 11 to 13 September 2012.
