In the project SMART-MODEL, The group of collaborators intends to create a single tool that unifies different measurement and modeling methodologies and improve device modeling of GaN structures. Flirtey, a drone delivery service, has completed the first fully autonomous drone delivery to a private residence to advance research toward integrating drones into the National Airspace System. Freescale Semiconductor introduced two new broadband RF power amplifiers - the new Airfast AFIC901N LDMOS RF integrated device and the AFT05MS003N LDMOS transistor. The products can be operated at 3.6 or 7.5 V and are targeted for applications where power for radio range and efficiency for battery life are key design requirements. 

Spectracom, a business of the Orolia Group, announces it has extended its global service capability through a partnership with EZU Technologies. Joining Spectracom  service centers in North America and Europe, EZU Technologies will support Spectracom users throughout the Asia-Pacific region from their facility in Hong Kong. Initially services will include equipment calibration and repair services.

The program will be later expanded to provide test and alignment of Hytera DMR mobiles.
