Abstract:
Wireless communications are an integral part of modern life, spanning applications from smart appliances and consumer products to industrial automation and medical devices. Integrating RF transceivers into new designs, as well as validating and characterizing their performance, can present challenges as technology continues to evolve. This webinar will discuss test methodologies for transceivers, separated into transmitter test, receiver test and antenna test.
Presenter Bio:
Edward Pan is the Global Technical Director of RIGOL’s Technical Support Department. He has been with RIGOL for nine years and has fulfilled a variety of technical and technical marketing roles within the organization during that time. Edward has extensive instrumentation experience, having successfully served in an array of roles from applications engineer to product marketing manager in a number of well-known measurement brands, including Agilent and RIGOL. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Space Science and Engineering, along with a Master of Science in Electro-Optical Science and Engineering, from National Central University in Taiwan. Additionally, he was awarded his EMBA from National Chengchi University and is currently a Ph.D. candidate within the Electrical and Communications Engineering graduate program at the National Taiwan University. He is based in Suzhou, China.
