Moderator – Microwave Journal®

Pat Hindle, Media Director

Pat Hindle is media director for Microwave Journal® and has been with the magazine for 12 years. He parlayed his process engineering background into a management role in marketing communications for several leading microwave semiconductor manufacturers including MACOM, Raytheon and Skyworks (Alpha Industries), in addition to working at MIT Nanostructures Laboratory manufacturing X-ray diffraction gratings for space research telescopes like Chandra. He has a B.S. in Materials Science Engineering from Cornell University and MBA from Northeastern University. In his current role as MWJ editorial director, he is responsible for setting MWJ’s editorial direction and developing marketing opportunities for industry clients. He has been the conference manager for EDI CON China and helped launch Signal Integrity™ Journal plus co-hosts the Frequency Matters videos and podcasts.

Abracon

Jean- Daniel Wu (“JD"), Regional Technical Manager

JD has an MSEE with a focus in antennas, RF passive & active circuits, magnetics and EMC coils. With 10+ years of R&D experience in multi-band antenna design, multi-antenna integration and RF subsystem development. He’s previously worked at Future Electronics as an antenna specialist FAE. JD has an advanced knowledge of antenna products (technologies, competitors, markets), wireless technologies (5G/4G cellular, GNSS, Wi-Fi, BLE, Sub-GHz, RFID/NFC/NFMI, UWB, radar, wireless charging), and regulatory & carrier device certifications (FCC/ISED, Wi-Fi Alliance, BT SIG, and PTCRB).

NOFFZ Technologies

Mátyás Süveg, R&D and General Manager, NOFFZ Hungary

Mátyás started working on cellular test solutions for the first LTE smartphones in Asia in 2010. Later, he helped transform this technology to the automotive industry by introducing high speed, multi-device production testing for eCall modules in Europe. Currently, his focus is on innovative product development to support validation and testing of new wireless communication technologies such as 5G, C-V2X, UWB, WiFi 6E and beyond.

Anritsu

Adnan Khan, Technology and Market Development Director

Adnan Khan has spent over twenty years of his career in the wireless industry working with operators, chipset vendors, network infrastructure vendors, consumer electronics/handset manufacturers, and test equipment vendors, in Senior Technical and Management roles. He currently heads the Technology and Market Development team at Anritsu and manages the strategic direction for Anritsu’s family of wireless and wireline products. His broad knowledgebase spans across different wireless technologies including Cellular, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC. He is a frequent speaker at multiple wireless conferences and industry events and has authored several articles in wireless technology journals. Adnan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and currently resides in Texas.
