IECL is an independent British engineer and developer of innovative phased array technologies for communications, power transfer, radar and ultrasonic applications. IECL products include CASSIOPeiA, the world’s first phased array antenna with 360 degree solid-state, beam steering which was successfully tested at Queens University, Belfast in April 2024, and has been licensed to Space Solar Limited as the foundation of the UK space solar power program. In September 2024, IECL launched its latest product PERSeIDA at the IEEE Arrays conference in Boston. This technology enables the elimination of up to 96% of phase-shifters from large aperture, electronically steered, phased arrays, resulting in dramatic cost reductions and an ultra thin array.
