Raytheon creating new cyber security company through acquisition of Websense

 Raytheon Co. has entered into a definitive agreement with Vista Equity Partners to form a new company combining Websense, a Vista portfolio company, with Raytheon Cyber Products, a business unit of Raytheon's Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) segment. DARPA awards Raytheon Co. two contracts for phased-array systems

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has awarded Raytheon Co. two contract modifications totaling a combined $5 million in support of the Arrays at Commercial Timescales (ACT) program. ACT is focused on developing technology that enables rapidly upgradable and widely deployable radar array architectures. The awards are the result of a competitive down select process after which DARPA chose Raytheon for the next phase of both programs.

Raytheon awarded $122M U.S. Navy contract

Raytheon received a contract modification for $122,443,911 to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-14-C-0075) for the procurement of 114 Tomahawk Block IV All Up Round missiles for the U.S. Navy. This completes the Navy's planned purchase of 214 Tomahawk Block IV missiles for fiscal year 2015 and continues to build the inventory to support warfighting requirements.
