Vaunix Technology Corp. announced the addition of eight new models to its LMS Series of signal generators. The additions are in response to customer demand for defined frequency bands through 4 GHz, specifically 70 to 450 MHz, 250 to 1500 MHz, 600 to 3200 MHz, and 1000 to 4000 MHz.

Aeroflex Inc. has announced its capability to simulate WAAS (Wide Area Augmentation System) LPV (Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance) approaches by adding this critical new feature to their GPSG-1000 Portable GPS Simulator.

RF Monolithics Inc. (a subsidiary of Murata Electronics North America Inc.) Azimuth Systems Inc., a provider of automated, real-world mobile performance test solutions, announced the availability of AzMapper 2.5, the latest version of its mapping and analysis application for real world performance testing. AzMapper, a critical component of Azimuth’s Field-to-Lab™ solution,  enables raw data collected with drive test scanners to be thoroughly analyzed and used to recreate that same radio environment through intelligent mapping of the logged field conditions to the available lab testbed.

Tektronix Inc., announced that it will enter the power analyzer instrument market and introduce a full new product line in the coming months. To facilitate this move, Tektronix has implemented a technology transfer agreement which includes power analyzer intellectual property, patents and product designs from its partner Voltech, which will exit the power analyzer segment of its business by September 30, 2013.

Tektronix Inc. announced that lab testing has shown that its next generation performance oscilloscopes - due for availability in 2014 - will deliver real-time bandwidth of 70 GHz, with significant upside potential. The new oscilloscope platform will deliver the performance and signal fidelity needed for applications such as 400 Gbps and 1 Tbps optical communications and fourth generation serial data communications.
