Skylo Technologies announces the certification of Sony Semiconductor Israel's ALT1250 chipset as part of the Skylo Certification Program.

Satellites are gaining prominence in cellular communication, while their potential to complement terrestrial networks, phone services and broadband is still unclear, according to the GSA report, “Non-Terrestrial 5G Networks and Satellite Connectivity.”
