Leti, a research institute of CEA Tech, announced it will deploy a 5G framework on the MINATEC campus in Grenoble to demonstrate a new post-OFDM (orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing) multicarrier waveform.

AT&T updated their 2017 plans for 5G development, which will use fixed and mobile trials to evaluate and provide feedback about the proposed 5G standards.

Qualcomm Technologies, Ericsson and AT&T announced plans to conduct over-the-air field trials following the expected 5G new radio (NR) specifications being developed by 3GPP. The trials will evaluate use cases at 28 and 39 GHz using spectrum from AT&T.
