Nokia and NTT DOCOMO Testing 5G at 4.5 GHz

Nokia will conduct trials of 5G technology with DOCOMO in the Tokyo metropolitan area throughout 2017, focusing on busy tourist, shopping and business locations, as well as at key public events hosted by the operator. The tests will use 4.5 GHz spectrum, one of the candidate bands for 5G in Japan.

The U.S. Army selected Northrop Grumman Corporation’s Highly Adaptable Multi-Mission Radar (HAMMR) to demonstrate its multi-mission capability at the 2017 counter-rocket, artillery and mortar (C-RAM) test at the Yuma Proving Ground earlier this year. HAMMR is a multi-mission sensor that supports situational awareness, counter-fire operations, air defense, early warning and airspace management.
