Dow-Key® Microwave Corp. will be displaying its Ka Brand switches and next generation matrices at the 2014 International Microwave Symposium Exhibition (IMS 2014) in booth 1405 on June 3-5 at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, FL. The IMS 2014 Expo will be the center of Microwave Week, June 1-6.

RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for two “small cell” power amplifiers from TriQuint. The TQP2451 and TQP2453 support 1900 MHz and 1800 MHz transmitter designs respectively. With average power output of 2.5 W, both devices include 3 gain stages, the final stage being a Doherty design for high peak power performance up to 20 W. The TQP2451 covers 1930 to1995 MHz with power added efficiency of 38 percent and <-50 ACLR. The TQP2453 offers 35 percent PAE over 1805 to1885 MHz. Both the TQP2451 and TQP2453 utilize 18 V and 5 V Vcc. Both devices are offered in a 20 x 20 mm package for 3G/4G wireless infrastructure, linearized transmitters, MIMO and heterogeneous networks applicable to small cells.

Signal Hound announces the Signal Hound BB60C, successor to the popular Signal Hound BB60A. The Signal Hound BB60C is a real-time spectrum analyzer and RF recorder. It has significantly enhanced performance compared to the BB60A. The BB60C has a frequency range of 9 kHz to 6 GHz, an instantaneous bandwidth (IBW) of 27 MHz, and the ability to sweep the RF spectrum at 24 GHz per second. It costs just $2,879.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for Skyworks SKY16601-555LF PIN diode limiter module covering the frequency range of 0.5 to 6.0 GHz. The SKY16601-555LF addresses a growing need for receiver low noise amplifier (LNA) protection in microwave applications.
