Skyworks Solutions Inc. an innovator of high performance analog semiconductors connecting people, places and things, announced that TP-LINK's newest router OnHub is being enabled by semiconductor content from Skyworks. The product leverages more than 20 Skyworks solutions to power multiple radios and 13 fully integrated antennas across various standards including Bluetooth® 4.0, ZigBee®/Thread, 2 and 5 GHz applications for 802.11ac/b/g/n and Google's Weave.

Mentor Graphics Corp. announced new PADS® 3D tool capabilities plus major usability enhancements to the PADS flow for printed circuit board (PCB) design. Anaren, Inc. announced that it has developed and introduced a family of passive RF components specifically designed for high-energy RF applications. The family of 2.4 GHz components is currently comprised of two Xinger®-brand 3 dB hybrid couplers (XEC24E-03G and XEC24A6-03G), one Xinger 30 dB directional coupler (XEC24P3-30G), and a flanged, AIN termination (G300N50W4) optimized to work with the aforementioned couplers.

Nokia announced that it has received antitrust clearance from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) for its proposed acquisition of Alcatel-Lucent. The clearance in China completes the material antitrust review process required for the transaction.

Anritsu Co. enhances its MN4765B series of O/E modules for the MS4640B VectorStar® Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) family that creates a cost-effective and flexible solution for measuring 56 Gb/s components and transceivers used in telecommunications and data communications applications.
