A major Chinese mobile operator has selected Anite’s Virtual Drive Testing Toolset for verifying mobile device performance in high-speed train scenarios.

X-COM Systems LLC, a subsidiary of Bird Technologies, introduced the latest version of its Windows-based Spectro-X signal analysis software that adds new features to tools for developing and testing radar, ELINT, SIGINT, ECM, ESM, commercial and military communications systems. The latest version of the software makes it easier to quickly find signals of interest and pinpoint them in time, enhanced broader pulse signal analysis and waveform search capability, and filtering of export files to include only specific signals.

A U.S. military systems integrator has awarded the Satcom Division of Communications & Power Industries LLC (CPI) an order totaling more than $4.5 million to provide high-power, X-Band traveling wave tube amplifiers (TWTAs) and related products for a significant military communications program. Under this follow-on contract, CPI's X-band SuperLinear® TWTAs will be used in a shipboard satellite communications program for the U.S. military that CPI has supported for a number of years.

Antenova Ltd., manufacturer of antennas and RF antenna modules for M2M and the Internet of Things, is adding two new positioning antennas, Bentoni and Asper, to its range of flexible FPC antennas.

Anritsu Co. (booth #717) will highlight its leadership position in high-speed digital test – displaying the industry’s only solution that supports 112G PAM4 generation and BER tests with accurate jitter injection – at DesignCon 2016. Ericsson and Huawei have agreed on extending their global patent license agreement between the two companies. The agreement includes a cross license that covers patents relating to both companies’ wireless standard-essential patents (including the GSM, UMTS and LTE cellular standards). Under the agreement, both companies are able to access and implement the other company’s standard essential patents and technologies globally.

M/A-COM Technology Solutions Holdings Inc. (“MACOM”) announced a teaming agreement that establishes MACOM as Northrop Grumman Corp.’s exclusive teaming partner for the development and manufacture of radar arrays that use MACOM’s active antenna technology to target a wide range of defense programs and platforms.
