Anritsu Co. released a new version of its award-winning SkyBridge Tools™ Test Manager that supports OTDR measurements to establish the industry’s first comprehensive field test automation tool that supports both RF and optical testing. By reducing test time by as much as 90% and increasing accuracy more than 10 times, SkyBridge Tools dramatically simplifies network installation verification, allowing contractors to close out projects more efficiently, receive prompt payment, and start new projects faster.

Anokiwave Inc., an innovative company providing highly integrated IC solutions for mmW markets and Active Antenna based solutions, announced that they have signed a representative agreement with JS Commtech in South Korea. The agreement aligns with Anokiwave’s goal to support new customers and opportunities for our highly-integrated Active Antenna Core IC solutions in South Korea.

While mobile network operators and vendors meet current market demands with LTE-A and LTE-A Pro, pre-standard 5G millimeter wave deployments are imminent. WIN Semicondocutors reported November revenue of NT$1,089 million ($34.2 million), which was a sequential increase of 4.3 percent and 2.4 percent greater than November 2015. Year-to-date revenue (January through November 2016) was NT$12,527 million ($394 million), 14.6 percent greater than the same period in 2015.

Rogers Corp. announced the latest addition to its RO4000® Series thermoset circuit materials: RO4830™ high-frequency laminates. RO4830 laminates offer 76 to 81 GHz auto radar sensor designers a lower-cost-but-performance-competitive option. Rogers RO4830 laminates have a lower price point and are processed by means of standard epoxy/glass (FR-4) circuit fabrication methods, for lower overall production costs versus PTFE-based circuits.

Teledyne Technologies Inc. and e2v technologies plc jointly announced that they have reached agreement on the terms of a recommended cash acquisition to be made by Teledyne for the ordinary share capital of e2v by means of a Scheme of Arrangement. It is expected that the acquisition will be completed in the first half of calendar 2017.
