 Teledyne Paradise Datacom, a business unit of Teledyne Microwave Solutions, announced the launch of the Q-FlexV™ broadcast satellite modem/modulator, a solution designed specifically for ASI and IP DVB video broadcasts.  Q-FlexV now gives broadcasters a “single-box” modem and modulator solution packed with all the advanced features they need, and with an unmatched Performance-to-Price ratio in comparison to competing alternatives on the market. 

 Coaxial Components Corp. announces that they recently completed their AS9100 audit and are being recommended for certification/registration by NSF. They will have the certificate in a few short weeks.  

 UltraSource, Inc. announced that it has developed a reduced cost plugged via option called PolyVia.  PolyVia was recently showcased at the IEEE-IMS, Tampa Bay, on June 3-5.  The PolyVia product is a polyimide-based plugged via option that customers can add to their plated-through hole designs in order to stop epoxy or solder bleed-thru during assembly operations. 

 Advantech Wireless, a privately-held Canadian corporation and manufacturer of satellite, RF equipment and microwave systems announced that it is successfully supporting the live transmissions of the sports tournament in Brazil with its award winning 400W C-Band and 200W Ku-Band SapphireBlu™ Series of UltraLinear™ GaN technology based high power amplifiers. 

 Exelis has completed the acquisition of Celestech, a privately held technology development and engineering firm, with locations in Chantilly, Virginia and Phoenix, Arizona. Celestech's acquisition does not materially impact Exelis financial results for the second quarter of 2014.

 Boeing and Turkish Airlines finalized an order for 15 additional 737 MAX 8s, valued at $1.6 billion at list prices. The order follows the announcement in May 2013when the Turkish flag carrier placed the largest Boeing order in the airline's history for 50 737 MAXs and 20 Next-Generation 737s.
