Harris Corp. has received a five-year, $1.7 billion ceiling, single-award follow-on IDIQ contract from the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) to supply secure tactical communication solutions. The contract was awarded under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program and was received during the fourth quarter of Harris’ 2016 fiscal year.

Harris Corp. has received an eight-year, $96 million ceiling, single-award IDIQ contract from the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) to supply precision approach radars (PAR) to the U.S. Navy, Air Force and Army. The contract was awarded during the fourth quarter of Harris' fiscal 2016.

Lockheed Martin received a $116.8 million contract from the U.S. Air Force for continued production of Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile-Extended Range (JASSM®-ER).

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. announced that its Santa Clara, Calif.-based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology Inc., has received production contract for more than $3.2 million from a U.S. military integrator to supply high-power traveling wave tube amplifiers (TWTAs). This is the first installment of a multi-year program for tactical military transportable satellite terminals.

 Thales Alenia Space signed a contract with French space agency CNES (Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales) covering the design and development phase for the Poseidon-3C radar altimeter on the SWOT (Surface Water and Ocean Topography) satellite, new altimetry program that will demonstrate new applications.
