 Skyworks Solutions, Inc., an innovator of high performance analog semiconductors connecting people, places and things, announced that it will be the exclusive provider of RF content powering D-Links next generation 802.11ac Wave 2 devices. The AC5300 (DIR-895L/R) and AC3150 (DIR-885L/R) ultra Wi-Fi routers support tri-band 2.4 and 5 GHz technology, multiple user MIMO and deliver wireless speeds up to 5.3 Gbps and 3.2 Gbps, respectively. The DIR-895L/R is the world's fastest router, facilitating uninterrupted, high definition multimedia streaming in the home. 

 The High Performance Foams Division of Rogers Corp. has officially changed its name to Elastomeric Material Solutions to better reflect the growing range of products and capabilities available to meet customer needs. 

 FIME's EMV(R) RF test tool, which incorporates Keysight Technologies' Contactless Test System, is the first to achieve EMVCo qualification to perform Level 1 PCD analogue testing on contactless terminals. The tool confirms that the communication between the terminal and a contactless card, or near field communication (NFC)-enabled smartphone, is in line with EMVCo's EMV specification 2.3 requirements. Contactless terminal and mobile point of sale (mPOS) manufacturers can use the tool to speed up their EMV Level 1 analogue approval process.

Amphenol Connex has merged with Amphenol RF, headquartered in Danbury, Conn. The combined product portfolio will be marketed and sold under the name Amphenol RF. The Moorpark, Calif. facility will continue to operate as the company’s main North American distribution center and Amphenol RF’s western regional sales office providing support to local customers.

Anritsu Co. and Electro Rent announce that the two companies have signed a formal agreement whereby Electro Rent is a preferred reseller for Anritsu test solutions throughout the United States and Canada. Under terms of the agreement, industry-leading Anritsu benchtop and field instruments will be available through Electro Rent.
