TriQuint Semiconductor Inc., a leading RF solutions supplier and technology innovator, has released three new bulk acoustic wave (BAW) RF bandpass filters that can handle more power while providing greater temperature stability and superior signal rejection for high performance infrastructure applications.

Pulse Electronics Corp., a leading provider of electronic components, introduces RF MoCA (Multimedia over Cable Alliance) filter modules that are pin-in-paste compatible. Pin-in-paste manufacturing uses a reflow instead of a wave soldering process to apply solder to the components, saving time, increasing throughput, and reducing costs. These filters are compliant with MoCA 1.1 and 2.0 requirements and are qualified with leading MoCA silicon vendors.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for TriQuint Semiconductor BAW filters including the 885025, a Band 2 uplink filter at 1880MHz. BAW filters offer improved power handling performance over traditional SAW filters. The TriQuint 885025 has a usable bandwidth of 60MHz and the RoHS compliant 3x3mm ceramic package can handle up to 1W (30dBm) of CW RF energy.

Pentek Inc., announced a new line of multiband, modular RF slot receivers: the Model 8111 series accepts RF signals over the range of 800 MHz to 3 GHz, downconverting them to a 225 MHz IF signal suitable for A/D conversion by any of several Pentek signal acquisition modules.

Rohde & Schwarz now offers harmonic filter options for its R&S SMB100A microwave signal generator. These filters make it possible to achieve a harmonic suppression of more than –50 dBc over a wide frequency range from 150 MHz to max. 40 GHz. At low frequencies below 3 GHz, it is even possible to achieve an excellent –58 dBc.
