ELVA-1 Ltd. considers itself to be ideally placed to profit from the Concept of facilitation of licensing 71-76/81-86 GHz and 92-95 GHz radio bands for operating line of sight wireless links, that was issued by Russia’s State Radiofrequencies Commission. In accordance with this Concept, 71-76/81-86 GHz and 92-95 GHz bands can be used in the Russian Federation by any corporate body or individual person. One condition is that the equipment for fixed radios may only operate with efficiency of spectrum that is not less than 1 bit per Hz.
In Russia these frequency bands have now started to be used in high-speed radios and the largest manufacturer of ultra high speed radio links for millimeter-wave bands within the market is ELVA-1. The company offers certified radios for broadband wireless data transmission in the 71-76/81-86 GHz and 92-95 GHz millimeter-wave frequency bands.
Various models of radio links produced by ELVA-1 realize full-duplex wireless Ethernet data, providing ultra high capacity of 1.25 Gbps, 350 Mbps radios with Adaptive Code and Modulation (ACM), and a 100 Mbps series of links. All equipment provides PSK signal modulation form QPSK and above to 256 QAM.
ELVA-1 is one of the first manufacturers in the broadband market to produce a gigabit capacity 70/80 GHz digital radio link that was specifically designed to meet both European ECC and US FCC performance requirements, and offers certified radio links for use in those markets.
