Rosenberger Hochrfrequenztechnik GmbH & Co KG, Tittmoning, Germany, has acquired CDS DataComm of Plano, TX. The newly acquired company will be called Rosenberger CDS LLC and will continue to operate with its current management and staff in its Plano, TX facility. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Rosenberger CDS LLC is a manufacturer of fiber optic cable assemblies, patch cords and harnesses as well as complex copper and hybrid cable assemblies for the telecommunications, industrial and mil aero markets.

The company will become part of Rosenberger’s North American Group, which includes Rosenberger of North America LLC, Lancaster, PA (coaxial connectors, cable assemblies and related microwave devices) and Rosenberger Site Solutions LLC, Lake Charles, LA (infrastructure products for the cellular transmission market).

According to Hans Rosenberger, CEO: “We are very pleased to have the CDS group join our North American team. The addition and integration of CDS DataComm to the Rosenberger group compliments our other products and capabilities in North America”.
