AR Modular RF recently announced the completion of a new 75 W auto-tuning, multi-band tactical booster amplifier, designed to make it easy for troops to maintain constant, reliable communications in even the worst environments.
The new AR-75 booster amplifier boosts tactical radio signals from transceivers operating in the 30 to 512 MHz band, providing 75 W of power across the entire frequency band. The unit is SINCGARS and HAVEQUICK compatible and offers auto-switching and remote control along with vehicle power supply spike and noise protection. The system also provides a switchable SATCOM low noise amplifier (LNA) and RF power level control. The compact unit is designed to operate from military vehicle 24 V power systems.
The model AR-75 booster amplifier is designed to be “manufacturer independent” and can be used with the following military radio types: AN/PRC-148, AN/PRC-152, AN/PRC-117 and PSC-5D as well as a wide variety of other single and multi-band transceivers.
