Anoison Electronics Ltd. announced that its CQN has managed to successfully incorporate a snap-on coupling mechanism with the internal structural parameters of the original Type N.

The result is a waterproof, quick locking connector with electronic performance equivalent to its predecessor up to 11 GHz. By doing away with the N's threaded interface, CQN achieves 10x faster mating/de-mating, denser packaging and the ability to rotate the cable 360º with the connector in the mated position.
