G.T. Microwave announced model R8N-39-2BU, a SP8T phase and amplitude matched absorptive PIN diode switch that operates from 0.5 to 3 GHz. Across the entire band, VSWR is less than 1.6, insertion loss is less than 1.75 dB and the isolation is greater than 60 dB.
This unit is amplitude matched within 0.25 dB port-to-port and phase matched within 3.0 degrees port-to-port. With three-bit binary differential logic it is RS-485 compatible with a switching speed less than 100 ns. The unit has a two-inch from flat to flat decagon shape with a thickness of 0.75 inches.
