Harris Stratex Networks Inc. has announced the opening of a new Mexico City office, which will help the company better serve its customers in the rapidly growing wireless transmission market in Latin America. The new office will serve as the company’s regional headquarters, under the direction of Armando Trejo, vice president, sales and services, Latin America, and is located at Ejercito Nacional in the center of one of Mexico City’s most vital business districts.
The office, which consolidates the company’s previous resources in Mexico, will enable the company to optimize its sales and support efforts and better serve its growing customer base in Mexico and throughout Latin America. Functions operating from this facility include sales, professional services, engineering, customer service and administrative staff. Harris Stratex Networks will maintain satellite offices in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Buenos Aires, Argentina to provide focused support for South American customers closer to those offices.
“We have a dedicated and experienced team with a comprehensive skill set centralized in one office,” said Trejo. “Engineering support is being added, and the office will feature a state-of-the-art training facility. We expect our combined team to work closely to provide more efficient and optimal service to all of our customers in the region.”
