On 20 October Nordic Semiconductor ASA and Nu Horizons Asia Ptd Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Nu Horizons Electronics Corp., announced the signing of a Pan-Asian partnership agreement. This agreement involves the distribution for all of Nordic's products throughout the territories of China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand.
Under the terms of the agreement Nu Horizons Asia will distribute the complete Nordic range. With the ultra compact 2.4 GHz transceiver and transmitter families, nRF24XX, the company has also established itself as a market leader within the wireless personal interface segment.
"Nu Horizons has established itself as a leading component and system solutions distributor with robust demand creation capabilities, technological expertise and a strong global distribution network," said Svenn-Tore Larsen, CEO of Nordic Semiconductor ASA. "We are pleased to add Nu Horizons to Nordic's regional distribution network in Asia as our standard components are very synergistic with their line card offering."

We are delighted to add their leading products to our APAC solutions portfolio.
