Following the relocation of Vitelec Electronics Ltd. to Midwest Microwave International Ltd. at Chelmsford, UK, Emerson Connectivity Solutions has made a number of investments aimed at increasing the group's presence in the European RF connector and cable assembly market.
The developments further enhance the newly merged company's capability, product offering and levels of support, aimed at bringing significant benefits to customers in the UK and the rest of Europe.
Operating on a larger scale than before, Midwest/Vitelec is claiming to be able to offer an improved level of service in all areas of its business. With an enhanced on-site testing facility and a larger technical department, the company now possesses a greater design-in capability for both standard and customized RF connectors and cable assemblies, supported by a world-class manufacturing and assembly facility.
Also, Midwest/Vitelec has formed a new, dedicated logistics team to improve the efficiency of its distribution channel. The combined company's stock holding capacity has also increased to improve the processing of large-scale orders.
