Elektrobit Corp. (EB) has strengthened its position in the WiMAX Forum® by upgrading its membership level from regular to principal level.
The company has been a regular member of the WiMAX Forum since 2005, but now as a principal member it can participate in PlugFest events and actively affect the decisions made by the Forum’s working groups.
In the WiMAX Forum, EB has previously contributed to the definition of radio channel models and radio conformance test cases and has actively participated in member events, conferences and working group meetings. The company’s goal is not only to follow standardization, but also to be a proactive innovator contributing to future wireless systems. The company offers the latest technology in Mobile WiMAX™ base station modules and cost-efficient R&D services for horizontal markets.
