AmpliTech has begun offering its highly efficient, cryogenic amplifiers. These amplifiers are designed to operate at extremely low temperatures (below 16°K or -257°C).
To minimize the consumption of energy to cool the amp, the company offers low DC voltage options (as low as +3 VDC), low current consumption and a lightweight, compact housing.
Noise figures as low as 0.07 dB (< 5° K) are possible at L-band frequencies. These amps are extremely stable and highly reliable at these operating temperatures. Custom solutions are always an option. Cooling systems are also available for all its cryogenic amplifiers.
