In recent years Huber + Suhner has focused on the core business of ‘Electrical and Optical Connectivity’, and concentrated on the three areas of Radio Frequency, Fiberoptic and Low Frequency Technologies.
This approach has proven to be very successful and is the framework of further strategic development of the company, with the Board of Directors and the Executive Management deciding to align the Group Organization to these three business fields.
As a consequence of this decision the company’s Group Organization will be adapted over the next few months, splitting the present Fiberoptic + Cable Technology Sector into two separate Sectors.
The result will be that from January 2008 Huber + Suhner will be organized into the three aforementioned business Sectors: Radio Frequency Technology, Fiberoptic Technology and Low Frequency Technology.
As part of the restructuring, Urs Kaufmann, CEO, will take over the Fiberoptic + Cable Technology Sector from 1 May 2007 and oversee the change process and the implementation of the new structure.
